ABOUT ME
I'm fairly new to the art and design world. Growing up, I loved being creative, but I was a dedicated athlete and didn't think art would take me anywhere. I focused on more "practical" pursuits.
I began my college career not knowing what I wanted to do. Eventually, I landed in the communication and business field. I added a minor in photography at the beginning of my sophomore year which switched to graphic design after my first art class the following spring.
I have absolutely fallen in love with graphic design and marketing. I love using my passions to help others. I am striving to learn as much as I can and use my talents and abilities to help others.
FUN FACTS
I AM A DIEHARD INDIANS FAN
Growing up, I hated baseball. I was constantly being forced to go to my younger brothers' games and the Indians were always on. My dad was the head coach of my brother's team. Our lives revolved around baseball. Eventually, I fell in love with the sport and love watching the Indians and my brother play the game.
I LOVE DOGS
When I was little, I would beg my parents to get us a dog. My dad was adamantly against the idea until the Christmas of 2015. My parents brought home Skye, and we instantly became best friends. Every time I go home, she follows me around like a sidekick. I hope to open a no-kill dog shelter one day and give as many dogs a home as I can.
I WANT TO FOSTER OLDER CHILDREN
I have a huge passion for adoption and foster care, especially for kids that have been in foster care for a number of years. I want to provide a home for kids who are older and will otherwise age out of the foster care system. Even if I am only a part of their lives for a short time, I want to show them they are loved and cared for.
