Graphic Design Junction

Graphic Design Junction is a popular blog for graphic designers. They post a variety of content on fonts, inspiration, content, tutorials and more. I started following the blog because I knew it would be able to help me in my graphic design process. As a designer, I am interested in the branding process and found a very useful article with the trends of 2019.

Studying strategic communication and graphic design has given me a love for discovering who a company is and finding ways to represent that. I actually added my graphic design minor because I wanted to be able to better help company's represent themselves. The whole process is really intriguing for me because you can’t just understand the company and what they stand for. You also have to dig into who the audience is. You then have to merge those two groups.

This article explained a lot of the top trends in logo design right now which I found very interesting. It's a nice one stop place to look at the trends. I was intrigued by the trends they highlighted. It was also interesting to see which of the trends I had noticed recently in brands.

I hadn't even realized I was noticing a lot of the thing son the list until they were mentioned in the article. This opened my eyes to the things I see happening around me in design without even noticing it. The more I realize I notice, the more confidence I have in myself as a designer. I love discovering new things about design and myself.
